encounter @ airdrie





Well, another great Encounter event is under our belt and we want to thank our hosts for the evening, the Airdrie posse. Well done, you were indeed the hostess with the mostess!
The Lord was with us and we enjoyed a great evening of fun, friendship, food and faith building. Special thanks to Frazer & Derek for sharing their testimonies ~ God bless you both. Lanky & Pandy, crazee as usual, we expect nothing less. We want to thank Graeme again for leading us in praise in his own special and gifted way, and of course the funky band. Brian, opened the Word and left us with a real challenge which we pray will help you all to walk closer to Him in obedience. We were pleased to welcome Motherwell Ebenezer who joined us for the first time.
I hope you all enjoy the photo's. The next Encounter is at Olivet in Falkirk on 22nd April~ more details to follow soon.
Don't forget to get your names and deposits to your youth leader as soon as possible if you want to reserve a place on the Training For Mission weekend.
Remember the Encounter's day trip on 24th June to the land of 'Eastern Promise', price around £5 which includes a BBQ and much, much more. Email or phone Adi or Brian to reserve one of the few remaining seats.
Also £43 to Lorna or Lisa to secure a place on the Alton Towers gig.
Oh, and a final message to anyone trying to blag a freebie or refusing to buy a ticket ~ please don't, it's not cricket!

Ross n Joni’s Blog!

Greetings and blessings to you. Today it’s our job to tell you about the E.J.O.T.P.C… yes that’s right! For those of you that are not in the know this stands for Encountering Jesus On The Pitch Championship. A couple of churches have thought about putting a team together to compete against other churches. If your team would like to be involved and have a 6-a-side… yes 6-a-side team please contact the supreme wisdom of Joni Harris and Ross McIntosh for further details. The winning church will receive a mystery prize….. (We don’t know what it is yet). Don’t bother getting to exited as the sublime skills of the Incredible Duo (us) will lead to victory for Olivet!!! PEACE OUT!!

Encounter @ Airdrie



Well, it's been a few weeks since I have been able to update the blogspot but things have been VERY busy since the Encounter @ Strathaven. We have been busy making preparations and plans for the Training For Mission weekend at Hawick which is going to be 'awesome'. Have you booked your place yet? Remember £10 deposits are required for 25th. March at the latest. Have you remebered to ask your church to sponsor you?
We have also been busy getting things in order for the next Encounter event which is at Airdrie Ebenezer in Aitchison Street. This is going to be even better that the Strathaven event ~ is that possible? Come along and ask your 'homies' to a special time of fun, friends, fellowship and faith building. I have included a few maps on this post which will hopefully help those who are 'not sure' but if you really don't have a clue how to get there email me or add a comment to this item.
